WEB INDUSTRY STEREOTYPES
Many clients turning to IT specialists have a number of stereotypes that have developed in modern society for various reasons. Today we will talk about them, and find out which ones are true and which are not.
Some executives think that the more a company pays for a website, the better it will be. Of course, a job well done cannot cost a penny, because a lot of time and effort was spent on it. However, highly paid labor may not be of the highest quality. Regularly I come across various “web studios” that offer to make a website for $ 1,500-2,000 with a template design, curve layout and buggy programming. The red price of such sites is $ 500, 3-4 days of work. I’ll share my personal experience: when I started doing site building, gaining experience in freelance, I was regularly contacted by “web studios” with a request to complete a particular project. As a result, the client paid $ 2,000-3,000 for the studio’s website, I received my 300-400, the rest was left to myself by intermediaries. The record is a 15-fold increase by the intermediary of the price for which I performed the work. Right? Effectively spent customer funds? I don’t think so.
And, for that matter, I’ll tell you about another group of cases that, alas, I regularly encounter. The customer, having a limited budget, is looking for a person who agrees to make a website for a small amount. It happens that the contractor disappears immediately after receiving an advance payment. Even more often, a site with grief is given up in half, or pieces of the site are given up – and the performer disappears. As they say, even in a barrel of honey there is a fly in the ointment. Often you have to help such clients, and, after analyzing such sites, in about 70% of cases, the site goes to complete rework. Often making a website from scratch is more reasonable and easier than completing and fixing all the mistakes of the previous “programmer”. If this is your case – contact us – comfort, reassure, we will make you a good site. No prepayments.
One can sometimes hear that women designers are less qualified than men of the same specialty. It’s a delusion! Again, it all depends on the experience and talent of the employee, do not think about gender differences, because you turned first of all to a specialist. By the way, our designer is a girl named Natalya.
In the pictures, the designer or programmer is sometimes depicted not in the most flattering images. They expect to see young people, and maybe not so, people who do not monitor their appearance, constantly go in a sweater and eat only coffee. Not at all like that. We follow fashion, think about a healthy lifestyle (sometimes :)) and love to smile, giving our positive customers.
Therefore, do not think about any stereotypes! Our team grows and develops every day, providing you with new services and expanding our portfolio to prove that you have chosen us for good reason!
